A Taste of the Job
As a Warehouse Operative at our new First Ireland Spirits warehouse, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our operations running smoothly. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you’ll support the day-to-day movement of goods through the warehouse, from unloading deliveries and picking stock to preparing shipments and managing key system transactions.
This is a hands-on role that combines warehouse operations with system accuracy. You’ll work with equipment such as VNA forklifts, pallet trucks, and slip-sheet machines, while also managing stock movements in Business Central. From receiving goods to preparing shipments, your work will ensure our products move efficiently and accurately through the supply chain.
Your impact will include
Warehouse Operations
Pick, pack and put away stock across the warehouse.
Unload trailers and load containers efficiently and safely.
Operate warehouse equipment, including VNA forklift, pallet truck, and slip sheet machine.
Manage the movement and storage of materials and finished goods.
Warehouse Systems & Transactions
Process goods receipts and stock movements using Business Central.
Generate pallet labels and ensure correct labelling before put-away.
Create warehouse shipments for finished goods and factory materials.
Maintain accurate records and file paperwork for all stock transactions.
Stock Control & Flow
Act as the first point of contact for inventory queries, including count checks and missing pallet reports.
Work with the Inventory Coordinator to resolve stock discrepancies.
Organise work schedules to support forklift operations and maintain efficient stock flow.
Operational Support
Act as the first point of contact for drivers arriving on site.
Assist with export and shipping documentation to support customer deliveries.
Support audits relating to Health & Safety, Food Safety, Finance, and Revenue.

The perfect serve – A bit about you
You’re organised, practical, and enjoy working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You’re just as comfortable using systems as you are operating equipment on the warehouse floor, and you take pride in keeping things accurate and running smoothly.
You will bring:
Prior experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment.
Experience operating forklifts or pallet trucks (or willingness to train).
Experience using warehouse systems or ERP platforms such as Business Central.
Strong numerical and organisational skills.
Excellent attention to detail when managing stock movements.
A proactive, flexible approach to work in a dynamic environment.
The ability to build positive relationships with colleagues, drivers, and suppliers.
Pride in maintaining high housekeeping and safety standards across the warehouse.
