A Taste of The Job
As our Café and Bar Assistant at The Dublin Liberties Distillery, you’ll be part of the front line of the Quintessential Brands visitor experience. Reporting to the Venue Manager, you’ll support the day-to-day running of the bar, café, floor service, tastings, tours, and private events, helping ensure every guest enjoys a warm welcome and an exceptional experience.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where no two days are the same. From serving coffee and cocktails to supporting whiskey tastings and events, you’ll play a key role in bringing our brands and our heritage to life in one of Dublin’s most historic distilling locations.
Your Impact will include:
Guest Experience – Welcome visitors in a friendly, clear, and professional manner.
Food & Beverage Service – Prepare and serve Irish whiskey, cocktails, coffee, soft drinks, and light refreshments.
Bar & Floor Support – Serve on the bar and floor, clear and reset tables, and maintain high service standards.
Retail & Transactions – Operate the till, handle cash confidently, and support retail sales of whiskey and branded merchandise.
Tastings & Tours – Assist with whiskey tastings and visitor groups when required.
Events Support – Help set up, service, and break down private and public events.
Standards & Safety – Maintain cleanliness, glassware standards, and follow all safety and responsible alcohol-service guidelines.

The Perfect Serve - A Bit About You
You’re friendly, reliable, and comfortable working across bar, café, floor service, and events. You enjoy engaging with guests and can stay calm and professional in a busy environment. You bring previous hospitality experience, a strong work ethic, an interest in Irish whiskey, and a willingness to learn.
You will bring:
Experience in bar, café, or hospitality roles.
Confidence handling cash and using POS systems.
Strong customer service skills and a professional approach.
Flexibility to support bar, floor, café, tastings, and events.
Interest in Irish whiskey and visitor experiences.
A second language is an advantage, but not essential.

All tips are paid directly to staff at the end of each shift.
