A Flavour for the Job
Are you a commercially driven leader passionate about building strategic partnerships and driving results? At Quintessential Brands, we're looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to take charge of our On Trade & Delivered Wholesale channel and deliver long-term sustainable growth and exceptional brand presence.
This field-based role reports to the MD UK & Europe and offers the unique opportunity to manage and grow a diverse portfolio of our brands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and execute clear customer strategies to increase listings, visibility, and rate of sale.
- Lead category insight and brand strategy initiatives to elevate Quintessential Brands to partnership status.
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and customer service teams to deliver effective activation plans.
- Deliver financial targets, including budget management, cost price increases, and tender processes.
- Continuously optimise forecasting, reporting, and financial processes, including maintaining Salesforce (CRM) accuracy, reviewing accruals and investments, and ensuring effective debtor management.
- Foster strong relationships with key accounts at both strategic HQ and regional levels to identify and capitalise on growth opportunities.
- Develop and expand an On Trade & Delivered Wholesale convenience team as sales increase to support further channel development.
A Bit About You
- Educated to degree level, with a minimum of 3 years experience as a National Account Manager in a major FMCG business in the UK, specializing in On Trade and Wholesale channels.
- Proven experience managing joint business plans with large customers in FMCG.
- A strong negotiator with a track record of executing brand plans, price increases, and launches.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with confidence in public speaking.
- Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and CRM systems.
- A full UK driving license is essential.
