Salary including shift allowance: £47,549.42 per annum.

We are now looking for a Shift Maintenance Engineer who can help to ensure that our site continues to produce our award-winning gins.
A Flavour for the Job
Reporting to the Packaging Maintenance Manager, our new Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all types of plant within the bottling lines and distillery, using fault finding techniques and root cause analysis to not only provide timely solutions to make sure our site remains operational but also to identify opportunities for continuous improvement to processes and standards.
As well as reactive maintenance on high-speed bottling and packaging machines, you will also support in the completion of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules, carrying out these schedules and planned work across various equipment including Filling, labelling, packaging and process equipment. As a technical expert you will also be key in supporting the bottling operation with machine changeovers and setting. This is a shift-based role so the successful candidate must be happy to take on a shifts.
Working safely is central to everything we do and, above all, you will be expected to maintain a high degree of both product and personal safety in accordance with HSE, EHO & HMRC requirements, ensuring adherence to all legislative requirements, helping us to instil a behavioural safety culture within our teams.

A bit about you
The successful Maintenance Engineer will have extensive manufacturing experience, ideally within the food and drink industry, with a multi-skilled background and qualifications to NVQ/HNC level or equivalent. Experience in electrical control, PLC and automation systems would be an advantage.
Aside from the engineering skills, you’ll be an excellent communicator who is enthusiastic, positive, and able to explain technical solutions clearly and plainly to people who may not be from a technical background. You’ll enjoy working as part of a small team where you can develop your skills and coach and mentor your peers and others in the wider business.
