Our Irish brands are one of the fastest growing areas of our portfolio with whiskey brands like Dubliner and Dublin Liberties and Irish Creams including Feeneys and O'Mara's. We are now looking for an Assistant Brand Manager to support our Irish Marketing team and help to take our Irish brands to the next level.
A Flavour of the job
Reporting to the Global Brand Director and General Manager for Ireland, the Assistant Brand Manager will work closely with the sales teams to implement the global strategic brand plan with distributors as well as delivering the yearly activation plan across priority markets to drive brand engagement and growth. This is a busy role, you will need to be organised with strong project management skills as you will act as the main point of contact for commercial led products, assisting in all areas of brand management from managing and implementing the overall social media strategy, liaising with agency partners and overseeing the delivery of commercial assets and acting as custodian for their brands. In order to do this you will need to build strong relationships with our commercial teams to drive growth by co-creating and implementing a marketing/commercial plan for priority markets that would help them to secure new listings and protect existing ones.
This is not your average Assistant Brand Manager role, this is an exciting opportunity to work on some of our key premium brands, living and breathing your brands and enthusing everyone in the business and beyond with passion and showcasing your knowledge of the brand and the category.
This is also not your normal 9-5 day job, we move fast at QB and we are changing as a business so with the opportunities to make a difference also comes ambiguity and changing priorities so you will need to be resilient and like working at pace.
The Perfect Serve - A bit about you
You will come from a marketing background, preferably with a degree or equivalent experience in a field such as Business Management, Marketing, Advertising. You should also have experience in sales operations in a SME business and will have a passion for the drinks industry, even if you don’t have commercial experience in the sector.
Communication is key – you’ll have excellent stakeholder management skills and will be comfortable communicating with and influencing people at all levels, flexing your approach depending on your audience.
Data and numbers are your thing – with strong financial acumen, you’ll have good numeracy skills and experience in managing budgets and P&Ls with the ability to analyse, manipulate and interrogate data to gain insights and present these clearly and persuasively to your stakeholders
It’s all in the detail – you’ll have an eye for accuracy with an attention to detail that is second to none.
